Though Medicaid has offered assistance to pay the ever mounting hospital bills, Bridger will continue to have exorbitant medical expenses in the years ahead which will not be covered by Medicaid assistance. Things like: additional surgeries after his release from the hospital, physical therapy, a wheelchair, braces, walker, and/or a possible prosthetic leg.

In addition, Bridger's current home requires some remodeling to make it handicap / wheelchair accessible. It is anticipated he will be in a wheelchair for some time while he rehabilitates and hopefully walks again.
